Captain Rodney's Cheese Bake

Christmas is getting so close and there are so many ideas on what to bake for the family!

My favorite side dish is Captain Rodney's Cheese Bake! It is so quick and easy and is one of the yummiest things I have ever put into my mouth.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Mayonnaise

8 ounces (1 block) of Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup of Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese

2 stalks of Green Onions, chopped

6 pieces of Flipside Pretzel Crackers, crumbled

8 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

1/2 cup of Captain Rodney's Boucan Glaze

Serve with: Ritz Crackers or Tostitos

(This glaze isn't the easiest to find, you can order it from http://www.theeverydaygourmet.com/ or the http://www.bellbuckle.com/ and if you don't have time to order it, run up to your nearest *Kroger* and pick up some green peppered jelly)

Start off preheating your over to 350.

In a medium sized bowel mix up your mayonnaise, creamcheese, cheddar cheese and green onions until thoroughly blended. (If your family is as picky as mine, we don't add in the green onions and it tastes just as good)

Spread this mixture into an oven proof serving dish that can hold all this mixture plus a little extra! Sprinkle those cracker crumbs on the top and put it in the oven!

Let this cook for about 15 minutes, when you take it out spread the bacon crumbs over the top,

and pour the glaze over the whole dish.

And your done!!

Today is a VERY important day!!

It's my mom's 44th birthday! (She would kill me if she knew I posted her real age on the internet for anyone to read)

My mom is the most beautiful woman I've ever met, inside and out.

She is always doing stuff for my sister and I, and now she is busying her time preparing for my sweet Kinsley

Here is my mom and her favorite person in the whole world! The Pioneer Woman!

Not so sure what she is doing here, but she's a goofball!

Goodness it has gotten cold outside!!

On Saturday I worked on Kinsley's Nursery the first half of the day, and then I decided to take some pictures while it was still bearable outside!

I wanted to take my pictures at the Old Mill, but of course it was super crowded,

so I just went to some random places and snapped some shots!

This one was outside some random persons house!

It took me forever to figure out how to make a perfect heart around my belly button!

This was also outside some random persons house,

but I LOVED that swing. This is one of my favorites!

This is my wonderful dog Charlie.

He is like my best friend, been there with me through thick and thin throughout all the hard times in the past year! So I had to include him in some pictures!!

I always laugh thinking about Kinsley when she goes for her first day of Kindergarten,

The teacher will ask what her parents do,

and she will probably respond with my mom is a nurse and my dads a dog.

Hahaha oh goodness. 83 more days to go:)

86 more days until my little Kinsley Mae will be here!!

I haven't finished her room yet, but so far we have painted the walls a soft buttery yellow!

I also bought her crib and bedding!

Ahh can't wait for her to be here!!

Making Burp Cloths

I decided to get creative after going to Dazzle Days with Jessica. 

I thought making these cloths would be rather hard, but it was so super easy!!

First: I bought some baby cloth diapers(white).

Second: I went to my favorite store Hobby Lobby, and shopped for fabric and ribbon. This took the up the most time of the whole project, mainly because I could shop in Hobby Lobby for days.

Third: Took my baby cloth and measured the middle section, then cut the fabric 2 inches wider and longer.

Fourth: I got out my iron, and folded the fabric to fit onto the baby cloth perfectly. Then ironed down the edges.

Fifth: Pinned down the fabric to the baby cloth and sowed it together!!

Sixth: On some of mine I added ribbon to the edges of the fabric!
