Million Dollar Spaghetti is my family's FAVORITE meal, so I thought I would share it with all of you!!
Ingredients1 lb. of Ground Beef
1 can of Spaghetti Sauce
8 oz of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup of Sour Cream1/2 lb. of Cottage Cheese
Whole Stick of Butter
8 oz. of Noodles
Bag of Sharp Chedder Cheese
First: Go ahead and put your over on 350! Boil those noodles!! While they are boiling go ahead and mix up the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese!!
Make sure that it is mixed up VERY well!
Then.. go ahead and cook that meat!
Make sure its good and brown and drain it!
Then pour your spaghetti sauce over it!
Take a few slices of your butter and put them in the bottom of your casserole dish,
Then layer HALF of the noodles in the bottom of the dish!
and SPREAAAAAD it all over!
Then add the rest of your noodles and put a few slices of butter on top of those noodles.
Now pour the red sauce and meat on top!
and once again SPREEAAAAD
After those 30 minutes take the dish out and pour some chedder cheese on the top and put it back in the oven for 15 minutes!
Then your DONE!
Now I'm awful and didn't take a finished project picture, SORRY!
But the amazing taste will make up for it:)

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 261 of 261I seriously love this recipe! Getting ready to make it for the 4th time since finding it on Pinterest! I did change a couple of things, I use elbow macaroni instead of spaghetti (my kids hate spaghetti, go figure) and I only use about 1/2 a stick of butter. I think it's even better as leftovers!
I made this last night. I added salt, pepper, minced garlic, Italian seasonings and a small can of mushrooms to the burger. I used rigatoni pasta (just cause that's what I had on hand). I only used 1/2 of a stick of butter but will omit it next time. It simply doesn't need the butter, I'll just spray the dish with Pam. I added a single layer of pepperoni on top of the meat/sauce. For the cheese I didn't use the sharp cheddar, I opted for a few different cheeses-shredded parmesan, shredded pizza blend and shredded mozzarella. It was excellent and pleased my kids and husband very much. I added a salad and garlic bread. For sure will make this in the future! Thanks for sharing!!
I made this and my boyfriend and his mom loved it! I did made a few changes though, I used fat or low free for the cheese mixture, two jars of sauce, and mozzarella cheese on top. For sure I'm making this again :)
8 oz of noodles doesn't seem like much? Has anyone tried using the whole box? Making this tonight and have 6 hungry mouths to feed and was hoping for some leftovers too. I couldn't find the amount of servings in the recipe.
I made this for dinner. We LOVED IT! My family prefers sausage so I made it with that instead of hamburger. I used 1/2 the amount of butter and it was still greasy. I might cut the butter down even more next time.
Made this tonight... skipped the butter completely (just used pam on the dish) and added a box of thawed/squeezed chopped spinach. It was great. Everyone ate it - even my 2 and 4 year olds. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. Thanks!
Where does the blogger claim this is a healthy or low fat recipe? If you personally want to lighten it up, then do it. Indulging is perfectly fine in moderation. I actually MADE this recipe before criticizing it and my first observation is - it doesn't take a genius to identify where you may want to lighten it up *eyeroll*. I used Jennie-O turkey sausage and Barilla sauce (which I added sliced olives and extra seasoning to), I used 10 ounces of spaghetti, and didn't end up using all the cream mixture. I, too, cut back on the butter to about 1/3 of a stick. I also layered it in a smaller diameter, taller casserole dish which allowed me to use less butter and cheese spread. I agree that the butter could be cut out all together...so next time I will spray the bottom with cooking spray instead. We reheated tin-foiled covered leftovers in an 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes (delish!) Thank you for the recipe - it was loaded in flavor, was the perfect comfort food...and was super easy to make. I can see how easy it would be to make ahead of time, too. The perfect family-friendly recipe I could alter for our taste!
I made this, and used homemade spaghetti sauce. Wonderful recipe!! my kids loved it!
Not here to complain. ...but I was so excited to try this since my two favorite foods are spaghetti and lasagna and because there are SO many great reviews. I made this for my boyfriend and I and neither one of us are impressed. The sour cream, cream cheese and cottage cheese made it have a very undesirable texture. I have a ton left ovwr and neither one of us are looking forward to eating it. Too much to waste.
Made this last night for my teenage daughter and her friends! It was a hit and super simple! Increased the amount of all of the ingredients (i.e., winged it) and it served 5 teenagers and had still had leftovers!
What size is that jar of Ragu? 32oz. perhaps? I used to make my own spaghetti sauce from scratch but when the kids left the nest, Ragu is fine for us. Do you searth this with a salad and garlic bread? How well does it freeze? If you freeze it, how long do you reheat it when it is thawed?
We made this tonight and used Arrabbiata sauce and also Rotel. Also instead of shredded cheddar cheese, we just used Jalapeno velveeta! So cheesy and delicious. Totally unhealthy but absolutely fantastic!! Definitely bookmarking this for sure.
sounds yummy
I'm making this right now, for dinner tonight and after reading through all the comments, I'm using 2 times the sauce and 1.5 times the center cheesy mixture. It smells wonderful now as it bakes!!
I just made this and I have to say that it is amazing. Thank you for sharing this on Pintrest.
I tried this after I found on pinterest & it had so many great reviews... Not to complain but I will never make this again. Two main reasons: 1) way too rich and I halved the butter it calls for. Felt like I was eating grease. This went to the dogs & the rest in the trash. 2) it was extremely bland. Thanks for sharing but my spaghetti as well as my mom's will be the only I ever eat! Not million dollar Spaghetti... More like 10 wasted dollars at the store!
I was suggested this web site by my cousin. I am not positive whether this submit is written by means of him as nobody else
recognise such targeted approximately my problem. You are incredible!
Thanks!

I made this for my family last night. Like many others who have posted, I added my own touch to the recipe by adding sauteed onions and mushrooms to the meat sauce. Everybody loved it and went back for more. My kids said some bites tasted like lasagna and others like spaghetti. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Just put this in the oven... Can't wait to try it :) I also found you on pinterest
I made this and agree, it's too much cheese and not enough meat or sauce! Don't think I'll make it again. Also, it needs some seasoning in it to cut the cream cheese taste.
I've been eyeing this on pinterest for quite some time. While I love trying new recipes, I HATE wasting food if we don't like it. I can tell you that NONE of this will be wasted. It was soooo good. I made a few adjustments for our tastes. My husband and I are both vegetarians so I sauteed mushrooms and added meatless crumbles. I also added a few sprinkles of dried basil and about 1/4 t of red pepper flakes to the sauce. I also left out the cottage cheese and didn't bother using a substitute. Instead of using regular cream cheese, I use a 10 oz container of Philadelphia cooking creme Italian herb. I think next time I may use a tad more red sauce, but this was still phenomenal and my hubby couldn't stop raving about it. We are looking forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow and I'll definitely be making this again.
Gotta give credit where credit is due...so delicious!

Delicious casserole. Made it for dinner tonite & have leftovers for a couple days from now. Minor changes were: dried basil & oregano, garlic & onion powder added to creamy mixture. I also used "veggie pasta" and Mario Battali's spagetti sauce. Only used 1/2 stick of butter and it was perfect. Yummmm. Thanks.
We mixed extra firm tofu into the cream cheese mix and took out the meat and it was also amazing! Found on Pinterest! www.mrslawlerslovelies.com
Made this tonight, happy family! I added 2 containers chopped mushrooms and a bag of spinach (chopped) and a couple cloves of chopped garlic to the browned meat and let it cook down before adding my sauce. Veggies included makes this tasty dish a complete meal. Thank you for the recipe, it will be added to my book.
what is amount of speg sauce needed? jar or can? recipe says can picture is a jar
I have made spaghetti casseroles for years because great dish for company esp kids. Then you can have it in the oven and dishes done before company arrives.
I always make my own meat spaghetti sauce with mushrooms. I like the use of ricotta cheese but not too much. Most often though I use mozzarella cheese in the casserole instead of sour cream, ricotta or cottage cheese. Sometimes I add some ground pre-packaged mild Italian sausage when I brown the ground beef. I have also added some parmesan cheese on top of the casserole with the cheddar cheese. I also have used penne or other pasta instead of spaghetti noodles. So many variations available.
Make a nice green salad with lots of veggies and all you have to do is throw the bread in the oven when you are ready to eat. PERFECT!
Laughing at the people who are commenting that this is fattening. DUH! Eat it in moderation. The recipe is amazing. If you taste things as you cook you will make the changes that you LIKE! Who follows a recipe exactly? I never do. I did like this a lot. My husband LOVED IT! I also made 2 layers of everything. I think if you find a recipe you should make it your own instead of complaining. This is something I would make a couple times a year because it is decadent. Thanks so much for the recipe!
I think cottage cheese gets a bad rap. I LOVE the stuff! If it really bothers you, try blending it first, it makes it creamy and smooth instead of lumpy - you won't even know it's cottage cheese!
I made this recipe tonight and I'm very glad I did. It's delicious! We've been looking for new casserole-type dishes to try, our routine was getting old.
I used double the noodles, and I added a bag of shredded parmesan to the cream cheese mix. I didn't use as much cheddar cheese because I got tired of shredding it, and I'm kind of sad I didn't use more. Next time I'll just bite the bullet and buy a bag. I also forgot to put butter on top of the noodles, but it didn't seem to affect it too negatively.
Thanks for this recipe, it was really easy and I'll definitely be making it again!
An interesting melange of processed foods rife with with sodium, sugar, fat, and an abundance of GMOs, I'm sure. I can see where this might be considered a treat for children or even adults with an undeveloped palette. My biggest concern is that if your household features this kind of fare at the dinner table, I hope that you have had the foresight to have a plunger by the commode and an automated defiberlator in the pantry.
Ricotta is basically Italian cottage cheese so you should be able to substitute
I added cut pepperoni slices along with the meat and sauce. Delicious! Reminds me of Cheddar's spaghetti lasagna. Yummm
havnt tried it but all I can say to the calorie snobs, I assume you never order spagetti or lasagna at a Resturant because it would be way worse in Calories! and remember some like rich and saucy and some like more noodle etc, Clearly this seems more rich and the quantities should be adjusted to suit ur personal preferences , ie noodles, lowfat vrs regular. I thought everyone did that with all their recipes!Duh! looks like it would be great to me I would probably use what I had in Cabinet/frig. that closely resembles original :)

I think everything typed made a great deal of sense.
But, what about this? suppose you wrote a catchier title?
I am not suggesting your content is not good, but suppose you added something that grabbed people's attention? I mean "Million Dollar Spaghetti" is a little boring. You ought to glance at Yahoo's home page and note how they
write post titles to grab people to open the links. You might add a video
or a pic or two to grab people interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.

I made this for dinner last night and it was delicious. I made a few modifications without complaints. I used 1.5 lbs of ground beef (instead of just 1 lb), I substituted ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese, instead of using a stick of butter I used the spray butter and spritzed the bottom of the baking dish and the top of the noodles. I used 2 packs of noodles and I used shredded parmesan cheese instead of cheddar.
How many servings is this made for? I have a family of 7... Should I double it up?
im confused. Btw, its Cheddar, not chedder.
do you have to put butter.... it makes absolutely no sense to me!
This is my fav spghetti.
I made this tonight & used ground pork because that's what I had, it was very good! I will be making this again. Thank you for posting this recipe.
This recipe is great! It's definitely better than regular spaghetti. People who are saying its flavorless should try it again and add seasoning. I added seasoning because it comes natural to me when cooking and I wasn't disappointed. Thanks for the recipe :)
who cares?
"Then your DONE!"
You mean "you're". "Your" shows possession ("it's your cat"). "You're" is the contraction for "YOU ARE".
This is second grade stuff, seriously.
I make this regularly now!!Thanks!!
I too just found this on pinterest and this looks YUMMY! Have you ever made this ahead & froze it?
